I am a PR of Canada since May 2015. I was married in September 2015 in . I am in Canada and I want to sponsor my wife. However, I have a question about my eligibility to do this process, my situation is the next:
I re enter to canada after my mariage, in November I was with OW for one month (December 2015). Since January 2016 I found a work as Engineer. Being with OW for One month can cancel my eligibility to sponsor my wife? Please I need your help to clarify this.
The short answer is, so long as your currently meet the income requirements you shouldn’t have an issue (and those requirements are that you are not currently in reciept of social assistance for reasons other than disability).
