Hi,

I have applied to sponsor my wife to Canada and unfortunately my application got returned due to a missing file. Before i got the file back i got laid off and i am on EI now. My question is can i sponsor my wife While i am receiving EI.

  1. Yes, E.I. is not social assistance, it is an insurance, you pay when you are employed and collect when you are unemployed.
