My PR card is expiring in January 2019. I submitting the request on 4th October 2018. Till now i have not received anything as acknowledgment. i submitted the query but they have standard reply that it is not in our system. I am curious about the status becoz of mail strike.
I sent my application via courier and someone signed the receiving too. But still i am not sure if they have it or not.

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website states that the processing time is 92 days for this type of application.
Generally, if that time has passed, you can try to inquire about the status.
