PR Card Processing Time-Business or Calendar Days?

The Processing times says 56 days, is it running days are working days?

I live in Vancouver, from where do they post the PR Card?

According to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website,

CIC has switched from business days to calendar days so that service standards are clear and easy to understand. Calendar days are more meaningful. Now, you do not need to account for public holidays or weekends when looking at service standards. Also, using calendar days makes it easier for CIC to plan and track its processes fairly and transparently.

Additionally it states,

Processing times will vary based on:

• Type of application submitted;- Volume of applications received;- How easily we can verify information;- How well and how quickly you respond to any requests or concerns;- Whether the application is complete.

IRCC suggests that if it has been more than six weeks longer than the time shown since you applied, and you need more information concerning the status of your application, use the Case Specific Enquiry form.

They also have a reminder that you must also take into account up to 10 days of transit or delivery time on top of IRCC’s processing time. The time your application will spend travelling to and from IRCC will vary depending on where you live.
