Police Clearance

My wife is planning to apply for citizenship, she is present in Canada now 3yrs continously but before she came to Canada she spent one year in Jordan as a refugee. Does she need to get a police clearance and/or non criminal certificate from Jordan?

Hi

  1. If she has resided for 6 months or more in another country in the 4 years prior to the date she signs her application, she will require a Police Certificate. So she will require a Jordanian police certificate. Note she requires both see: http://tinyurl.com/y9ahr8ko

I landed in Canada On Jan 2015 and received my PR. I left Canada on Feb 2015 and returned on Sep 2015. Since then i have not left the country at all. The during that 7 months away, i was in my home country , Iran, where i immigrated from and that is my country of origin.

Do i have to bring police certificate for that 7 months i was away ?

Please let me know .

Thank you
