Late rent fee

Hi, I’m just wondering what the legal amount is for paying your rent late. I’m being charged 50.00 late fee for being 5 days late.

The Residential Tenancies Act does not state anywhere that a landlord can charge a tenant late payment fee.
Check the section regarding “If a tenant is late with their rent…”
