When I arrived in Canada to claim refugee status my passport was seized by CBSA. I am now a permanent resident and was told I could get my original passport back. However, when I call CBSA they tell me to call CIC, when I call CIC all I get is the automated system and no options to talk to a customer service representative.
I just want to know how I can get my passport back. I need it to apply for a visa ASAP
