I got my PR card and landed in mid 2012. Then I went back to my home country until mid 2015. I heard that in order to renew PR card, you must claim tax for the whole 5 years even you were not physically living in Canada. Is that true? If yes, can I claim to be non-taxable person for 2012-2014? Thanks!
