So we had applied in June 2014. My file is ok, but we applied for my husband with a shortfall of days since he travels frequently on business (each time only for a couple of days, but frequently).
He was given an RQ and we sent a lot of supporting documentation for his file. Now we have been invited for the citizenship test.
But due to the shortfall of days, can the citizenship officer make a decision or do they have to refer to a judge? I believe the wait time for the judge is long.
We live in Toronto and file is with the Scarborough office.
You can find some information on what type of decisions Citizenship Officers and Judges make on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website in the Citizenship - Administration - Decision making section.
