Want to Access my Entry and Exit Information

dear madam/sir
i want to access to my information in Canada border services
( to know the dates of my entry and exit from Canada because i forgot some of them )
from this site
https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

but a lot of my friends told me that is not legal and i will have problems when i apply to renew my PR …

please tell me if it is legal or no ?

According to the Access to Information Act,

So, yes, it would seem that this process is legal.

To be eligible to make a request under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act, you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently present in Canada.
