Hi,
I am a Canadian citizen (became Canadian after PR), and have been living and working in Canada as a full time.
I have a daughter who is under 18 and currently living outside Canada.
I want her to come to Canada to visit me during the summer and I can provide all the financial arrangements.
My question is: Can I apply for a visitor visa online on her behalf?
She was denied a visitor visa 5 years ago because the visa officer wasn’t convinced that she will return. Can anyone help with the application?
Thanks,
Hello,
Thank you for sharing this situation with us.
You may be able to find some information in our Settlement.Org Do I need a visitor’s visa to visit Canada? article. Unfortunately, as you may know already, there are no guarantees that a visa will be issued.
If you are in Canada, you may want to contact the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) Call Centre on their behalf for some additional information.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
