Travel Back To Home Country

Hi,

I am a refugee resettled to Canada with Permanent Resident. Can I travel back to my home country after receiving my Canadian citizenship and travel with Canadian passport?

Kindly reply.

Thanks

Basically, you should avoid visiting your country of origin while awaiting to become a Canadian citizen.

Hi,

I am asking about travel back to home country after becoming canadian citizen.

no you should not ,canada will revoke your canadian citizenship,it’s a new law and if you got into canadian base on refugee why do you want to go back to your country ?

Hi,

Your answer is confusing.

I am not a citizen of my previous country anymore…

Why should traveling back to my hometown would cause me to revoke my citizenship?
