Travel abroad during Spousal Sponsorship

Hello,

I am aware of the requirements for Canadian citizens.

My question is regarding permanent residents who sponsor a spouse outland?

May I visit my spouse abroad during the process for a month or so?

What is in fact the definition of residing in Canada and going on holiday abroad?

  1. As long as you go for a month or less, you should be fine. But I wouldn’t go for any longer.
