Sponsoring A Child Living Without Status in the US

Can anyone shed some light on this matter. My cousin is in the process of sponsoring her son who has been living illegally in the USA for the past 3 years. Will this pose any problem when she applies. Also does she have to prove his status in the USA on the application form?

She did declare him on her PR application and he also did his medical then.

Yes - she can sponsor him provided he is under 19 years of age.

She must declare that he is out of status / has no status in the US in the application. It won’t be a problem as long as she’s honest.
