New Health Card and SIN number

Me and my family have work permits that expire in 2 years. We already have health cards and SIN numbers. Yesterday we got our Permanent Residence and we are waiting for the cards. Do we need to get new health cards and SIN numbers?

  1. Yes, for the SIN you go to a Service Canada office with COPR and get a permanent SIN
  2. You then go to a Service office of the Province where you have your health card, and show your PR status.
