I’m a Canadian Citizen who has been stuck in different country for a couple years now.
I finally found a way to get back and I’m looking to start all over again from scratch. Meaning I don’t have a job, I don’t have money, and I don’t have family that live in Canada no more.
When I fly back to come back to nothing, I really don’t know where to start.
I’m legally entitled to work in Canada because I am a Canadian born Citizen, but where do I begin?
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Once you arrive, you may want to dial 211 on a phone and speak to an Information and Referral Specialist to see if they can connect you to other services that you may be eligible for as a Canadian Citizen.
211 is a free, confidential service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions and if there is any follow up to your question/situation.
