Increase of Rent - Legal?

my cousin has moved into my 3 bedroom apartment with me as there was an extra room for her, my landlord has advised me shes putting my rent up an extra $100 just becasue shes moving in,

my rent already got increased by $15 this year, is she even allowed to make that increase ?

she doesnt pay utilities i pay them myself

Your landlord can raise your rent every twelve months by a percentage that the provincial government sets. Your landlord must give you a written notice at least 90 days before your rent goes up.

It is important to note that, the guideline does not apply to some newer rental housing.
