How much Funds to Carry?

Hi I have got my visa for immigration and I have plans to travel to Canada in October. I am visiting Canada only to get my PR card.

I will come back to my home country after getting the PR card. And then will go next year. I have my return tickets already booked.

Do I need to carry the proof of funds of the total amount?

As I ll be there only for one month-time.

Please guide.

According to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website,

Unless you are currently authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada, or you have been invited to apply under the Canadian Experience Class, you must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you get to Canada.
