i am happy to find this website very useful.

its really resourceful.

i am an applicant for permanent residence and hopefully awaiting my visa in January 2011.at present I am out of Canada.

My wife is pregnant and i wish to bring her in canda and i want my baby born in canada after we land in ontario.

although i am informed about the wating period for OHIP for 3 months , still i am looking for some options in this regard .

i expect my baby to be born in the first week of may 2011 and i wish to land in the month of february , 2011 and it will probably not be possible to get my OHIP in time .

in that case ,how can i take help for giving my baby birth in ontario?

how much does it cost for giving birth in ontario?

is there any options for private health insurance ?

i mentioned in the application that my priority place of living is Ontario, if i land in alberta,can i get the OIHP just after landing ?

please suggest me what to do.

Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen, residing in Ontario and I have OHIP. I am also however, a gestational surrogate.

The couple I am carrying for are permanent residents of BC but their baby will be born in Ontario as I am here and they are currently working in Australia.

How would this situation be covered with healthcare benefits? I understand that I am not charged anything as I have coverage but once baby is delivered what fees would my IP’s (intended parents) be looking at.

Thanks so much I really appreciate all the help we can get with sorting out the finances associated with it all.

Hi…I want to ask u something about the cost for giving birth in hamilton canada…and what is the cheapest hospital there ?

And if I dont have medical insurance , which provence are covering the giving birth although im not canadian, so what is requirements for it?

By now you must have your baby, pls I am contemplating on doing this in May, 2015 and want to know the cost
Implication and all including accomodation because am writing from outside Canada.

You can also contact 211 for free referrals to community programs that may help your sister with preparing for her baby and after the baby comes.
