Canadian Experience

Hello,

My question is exactly the same as this one below…

Canadian Experience Class program.

Do we need a high score in order to get the Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residence through this program such as for the Federal Skilled Worker program? Or are these the only requirements?

  • Have obtained at least one year of skilled, professional or technical work experience in Canada within 36 months of the application date; and- Meet or surpass a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 5 (“initial intermediate”) or 7 (“adequate intermediate proficiency”), depending on the level of the job; and- Plan to live and work outside of the province of Quebec.

Has anyone got an update or recent experience of this?

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your question and situation with us, we appreciate your interest in this information.

Accroding to IRCC’s page on Language Tests:

For the Federal Skilled Worker program, the minimum level for all 4 abilities is a CLB7 in English or NCLC7 in French.

We hope community members can share their experiences with you, and hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your application!

Sincerely,

Your Settlement.Org Team
