Hi,
I am preganent but without OHIP (student visa). Based on the following link, it sounds like midwife cost nothing even without OHIP. Can someone confirm this is true with the source, if possible?

hi i was pregnant when i arrived at canada and i did hv OHIP at that time.Doctors were charging too much fees.finally i found midwifery services.i was reluctant in the begining to go there but believe they donot cost single penny…and the care they provide is much better than doctors.they remain with u at all time during labour…only cost u will b paying is hospital admission,dr consultation if needed during labour,or C-sec
