Per my lease agreement the appliance repair is to be done by the landlord and the first $100 will be deducted from us ( tenant). After some back and forth with the Landlord on a recent appliance malfunctioning the landlord decided to replace the unit instead of repairing it. The replacement unit seems to be used and dirty.
I am curious if it’s ok for the landlord to provide used appliance ( which is not even cleaned ) and expect the tenant to clean it before use ?
