You should be able to see a doctor and pay the fee. You may want to try going to a walk-in clinic if there is one available where you are. It may be useful to call around to find out what the different fees are since some may charge more than others.
Please type “Ministry of Health and Long Term Care cat 75305633” in google to open a OHIP required list of documents brochure. It depicts three lists of documents. If you have one document from each list, you are eligible for a OHIP card. Please take the originals to Service Ontario office to apply for the same.
