Finding a Job, Job Listings, Labour Market Information (LMI), Starting a Business, Social Insurance Number, Volunteering…
I would please like to know if anyone in the community can point me in the direction of a genuine LMIA Support Job? i am an Early Childhood Educator and Child Care Giver with a level 1 degree in Early Childhood Education. I also do have a lot of experience in Events Production and Management.
I am able to take care of all expenses relating to my relocation, hence i do not need sponsorship.
I have explored a couple of platforms and sites and would be very grateful for any assistance.
Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your question and situation with us, we appreciate your interest in this information.
If you are planning your move, you might be interested in accessing pre-arrival services, pre-arrival services are free online or in-person programs for people who have been approved to immigrate to Canada. You can find more information and services in the article What are pre-arrival services?
While teaching is considered a regulated profession, there are a number of alternative vocations you can choose from while you work towards re-certifying as a teacher in Ontario.
You may also wish to seek the support of an employment counsellor for job search support and help with your cover letter and resume when you arrive. Connecting with a settlement agency that provides employment services to get started can be a big help. You can find one using our Services Near Me section or by connecting with a community resource navigator at 211.
211 Ontario is a free, confidential service. Their phone service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Here is a link to their live chat if you prefer to communicate online. Their live chat service is available Monday to Friday from 7am-9pm ET.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to post them here.
We hope this information is helpful.
