You will receive notification of your approval through your IRCC account. Congratulations! This is huge. You did it — you’re becoming a Canadian permanent resident.

As part of your approval, you will receive a letter called a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (CoPR). You will need this document to activate your permanent residence. More on that in a later task — for now, go celebrate, you’ve earned it!
