# Spouse visa in/out Canada/ Open work permit

My wife is a Canadian citizen and a government employee, and I’m currently on a visit visa in Canada. Is it better to apply Souse sponsor visa inside Canada by myself? and am I eligible to get an open work permit by applying separately? Please guide with prompt response.
