# Receiving ODSP - Can I Sponsor my Spouse?

Good evening, I would like to know if I sponsor my wife here in Canada, we are married but the problem is I could not find a job due to my physical condition. As of now,I am receiving ODSP payment and my wife is already done in her requirements. My questions is may I sponsor her? How long does it take?

It states,

So as you can see it states that you may not sponsor if you receive social assistance _for a reason other than disability_.
