Processing Times for H&C applications

Hello, my legal advisor is quoting 6 months processing times for H&C application. However the Government website states it’s 29 months. Is it realistic to have an H&C application approved within 6 months? Thank you.

  1. 6 months is not realistic, since the only program that has a 6 month processing time is Skilled Worker where 80% are processed within 6 months of the application. Count on 29 months or more.

Your lawyer is right ! Total processing time is 29 months or 3 years ! But on 1st stage approval comes within 6 to 10 months . It all depends !

my H&C was approved last june 2017, now can i use it to apply for school as a home student and et OSAP.i really want to o back to school.
