My PR card is expired and already applied for the renewal. However, it is taking long . As we have to go for marriage in family, can I apply for an urgent request?

Can I apply PRTD while in Canada ? and if yes what is process ?

1. No, they won’t process on an urgent basis unless:

"
To qualify for urgent permanent resident (PR) card processing, you must be travelling within the next three months due to:

• a job opportunity- your own serious illness- the death of a family member- work related to your current job- the serious illness of a family member"

2. No, you can only apply for PRTD at an overseas office. You can complete the forms, but they must be submitted overseas.
