Hi, is there any difference in how the PR card is obtained by sponsored parents and other types of immigrants?

Do I understand it correctly that they pretty much apply when they land in Canada and then the card is mailed to them to the address they provide?

There’s no difference. Yes - it’s mailed to the Canadian address they provide.

Yep, MeIM is right. There’s no difference and it will be mailed to the address that the parents provided. As far as I know, it’s around 8 weeks (at this time) for the parents to receive their cards.
